Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Arcos hitch mounted enclosed cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Tesla Model Y. Now, to make something like this work, you're gonna need a hitch. You can have a class one, two or three hitch, doesn't matter. This will work with two inch and inch and a quarter hitches. And because it only supports a weight capacity of 110 pounds, even if you've got a class one hitch, it should work just fine. more

So this is gonna be a tray style cargo carrier that goes into your hitch receiver. It's a very lightweight and easy way to have some extra space for things you may not want inside of your trunk or in your trunk. So this is gonna be a aluminum carrier. It only weighs 23 pounds but it does have a weight capacity of 500 pounds. On that note though, that's the capacity of the cargo carrier, not your hitch receiver. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier that's 60 by 22 inches large fits on the 2022 Tesla Model Y. So if you need a lightweight and affordable way to expand your cargo capacity, this is gonna be a good way to do it. It is made of aluminum, but you also have a really large box shape here, and that way, if you're carrying things that you don't really want messing up the interior of your vehicle, you can put them right over here. For the way it works here on our Tesla Model Y, this is 60 inches by 22 inches. So your actually interior dimensions though, I like to measure from inside the rail, for width, it's gonna be a little bit past 58 inches, and then here it's gonna be about 20 1/2 inches. So that's how you can stack up your cargo. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over the Curt Cargo Carrier here on a 2021 Tesla model Y. So adding a cargo carrier to your model Y is gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna allow us to carry extra cargo which can be crucially valuable when we're taking those long road trips with the family, everyone's loaded up, space is certainly gonna be a minimum. So having a way to add extra cargo to our trip is gonna allow us to take all those items that we want with us. Now, and additionally a cargo carrier is a great option for storing those items that we don't necessarily want inside the vehicle. So in regards to the actual size of our carrier here, it's gonna be 17 inches wide by 46 inches across. So, we really have plenty of room there to carry everything we may need. more
